Calchem H.I.T. System On Pet Metallizing Surfaces
The traditional process of creating a hologram image on cardboard is by laminating a PET holographic-metallizing film on the paperboard, then printing on it, and finally applying a coating. In this process, the cost of the PET holographic-metallizing film is a significative percentage of the final cost.
CALCHEM H.I.T. SYSTEM allows you to replace the PET holographic-metallizing film with a plain PET metallizing film (no hologram), at a lower cost, and then to transfer the hologram after the printing process.
The result will be a lower cost holographic-metallizing printing that has a more transparent and glossier look than with the traditional process.
