Calchem's headquarters have been established in New York, USA, since 1980. Our manufacturing plant is located in Greenwood, Indiana, USA since the company was founded. Our state-of-the-art Research and Development department is located at our Greenwood facility, handling all the short and long term projects.
During the first ten years, Calchem was a major domestic water borne coating supplier for the printing industry; including lithographic, flexo and gravure printings. In viewing the globalization of the printing business, Calchem has established global facilities and agents covering the markets in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Bangkok, India, Japan, Taiwan, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Chile, among others.
Recently, we have established a converting operation in China to produce the hologram film, a special coating for the holographic technology and the metallizing foil. We also formed a partnership joint venture with Jin Yu Lan packaging machinery company in China, to produce the “Hologram Image Transfer machine” and the “Dual Functional Cold Foil Stamping and Hologram Images Transfer machine”.
Over the years, Calchem has earned its reputation as a leader of the waterborne and radiation curable coating industry in the global and domestic market. Today, our company is recognized as a provider of state-of-the-art technologies; and we keep surprising the graphic arts industry with constant developments.
